Magon
Magon is a mystical substance found in various forms throughout the universe. In its most accessible form, known simply as “raw magon”, it represents a plasma but flows like a liquid. It glows brightly, a different color depending on location.
In large quantities, raw magon can abruptly alter reality. Even in small amounts, raw magon can make stark (albeit minor) changes to the surroundings. Because of this, raw magon is considered highly toxic. It is considered safe only after it is processed at a refinery.
Once magon is ingested, humans can use this energy to alter reality themselves. This is done by way of spellcasting. Magon is also used as an energy source to power relics and devices throughout cities.
