Magon Crisis
Due to rapid population, globalization, rampant industrialization, and excessive materialism the magon supplies on Mirth had become nearly depleted. The nations of the world rationed the supplies out to their citizens and neighbors as needed and worked diligently to find a solution to the problem.
Eventually, a method for hyper-travel throughout the galaxy was discovered, allowing explorers to scout magon supplies and send them back to Mirth, providing a solution for the Magon Crisis. The reserves aren’t full yet and it’s estimated that the crisis will be completely over by the century’s end.
